Death of Hamidan
Yes, it is true that one of the original Shaitans did die in the game vs. the Tyrants. Maneuvering away from three norsemen, he tripped up and fell on the ball itself, impaling himslef on it's spikes

His entire career consisted of 14 completions, 12 touchdowns, 14 casualties and 4 MVPs. His player value at the time of his death was 250,000 gold crowns.

Khulus, also an 8-season veteran, was devastated by the loss and feels the void of position #3 more keenly than any other. Differences and flare ups of ego prevented the two from playing successfully together on the same pitch as of late.

Despite the loss, the team has many other promising players following in Hamidan's wake.

Tahsin and Jibril look to be as good or greater than Hamidan himself. Harnal Doomcaster is one of the most successful throwers in the game today. Baari Banethrower and Khaleeda Skullcinder are close to attaining Star Player status themselves in the near future.

True that the expenses of the team precludes its profitability. This will prevent the team from filling the #3 vacancy for some time. But may that vacancy stand in honor of the fallen hero Hamidan—one that stood proud and strong amongst the heroes of the game and elvenkind!

Painstaking Victory!
Oh yes!

It was a long tough haul for the Marauders and Shaitans!

First half saw an opening kick off riot and a failed wizard's lightning bolt. A relatively quick touchdown by the Shaitans followed by a long, back and forth game where the players took turns losing control of the ball to the benefit of the opposition. All ending with a desperate run to the end zone by Jibril to receive a quick pass from Harnal.

Fail!

One - zip at end of half.

Opening kick off of the second half has a fan throw a rock and badly hurt Marauder player #9, Adelbert. Luckily a magic sponge brought him back again after the Human's gained their touch down.

The mayhem continued all through the second half; lewd cheerleaders, Khaleeda turning into a frog, Tahsin snatching the ball from three tackle zones only to fall dodging away into open ground.

Finally at the last possible moment the Shaitans gained their second point, securing the game victory!

Tonight we face the norse without Jibril who sits out and tends his wounds. The marauder's coach warns us of the power of the naked savages. We will tame them and their mangy currs.

...and their Ulfwerener animals too!

Second Place for Shaitans
The recent victory against the humans has launched the Shandiir Shaitans into the #2 spot in the league behind the Slaanish team.

The human-dark elf match was beset by a cold blizzard that caused much havoc on the field. The humans, despite a valiant effort at holding back the Shaitans in the first half, gave way in the second.

One notable play was Khulus running to snatch the ball from between two defenders, pass it through the raging storm to Marwan who ran it to the witch Elf Khaleeda.

Khaleeda runs the ball down the pitch and goes for it three times in the ice and snow for the third and final touch down.

The mutated dark elf, Khadish, gains Piling On in post game training.

Sweet Victory for the Shaitans
You would think victories would seem like old hat for a team such at the Shaitans... but this last one was especially sweet!

In a previous exhibition match the Bonecrushers inflicted seven casualties on the Shaitans. After the Bonecrushers officially entered the league there was an immediate challenge for a rematch from the Orcs.

Wanting to feel redeemed from the crushing exhibition match the week before the Shaitans were undaunted!

The results... 3-0 victory with 3 casualties to the orcs's 4!
