Bored of retirement, once great Halfling blitzer Bronc Bugsmasher attempted to reform the legendary Halfling team, The Killer Bees. However, with no right minded Halflings willing to risk life and limb on a weekly basis for a few gold coins and a good meal, he threw in an ample supply of Bugsmasher Brew and lured an entire troop of Dwarves to fill his team ranks!

Painful victory for Killer Bees
A hard fought, back-and-forth match against the Servants of Morgoth resulted in an exciting win for The Killer Bees, but at a high cost. Team Captain and fan favorite B. Bobby Blair will miss the upcoming game against the Woodland Warriors, which could stunt the fast-paced dwarf offence.
Said Beauregard Rockgrip of the injury, "Nobody should worry. It's not like the best player on the team got hurt. I'm still here!"
Killer Bee fans won't have to wait long, as the bold claim of Beauregard Rockgrip will be put to the test tomorrow night! Stay tuned, sports fans!

Nuffle giveth...
...and Nuffle taketh away with great authority.
A merry tune performed by The Residents before the match sealed their fate. "The Folly of Nuffle" definitely did not shine a positive light on the easily angered god and he showed his displeasure almost immediately. Attempts to dance, dash, push and power their way through the Dwarf line ended with tumbles, trips, stalls and face-plants, much to the delight of The Killer Bees fans.
While The Residents stumbled, The Killer Bees soared. Beauregard Rockgrip vaulted to the top of the throwing ranks, while team Captain and fan favorite B. Bobby Blair continued his scoring dominance, even putting one of the Khemri skeletons out of the game en route to one of his touchdowns!
The rest of the match went in similar fashion, with the well armored and sturdy dwarves resisting all attempts to injure them by the foul-mad Khemri, en route to the 2-1 win!
